About 4 weeks since the last post here, and I should start with saying that my training-week in Switzerland was amazing! I visited Rebekka from the Swiss team and trained with her, and I also had the opportunity of training with the national team twice, which was a lot of fun! I had 6 days of climbing, and managed to visit 6 different and GOOOD climbing gyms.
Not much has happened lately, but I was in Trondheim last week where I won yet another national comp, but this time in bouldering. I have never competed much in national bouldering comps, mainly because there hasn’t been that many, but the competition now was a good one and I had a lot of fun!
On Thursday I was on a photoshoot with photographer and explorer Ryan Waters, and he took some impressive and good shots for Bergans of Norway, one of my new sponsors. I’m really excited to see how they turn out, and I’ll hopefully be able to use them here on the web site. So stay tuned for that!
As many of you know I’m in my last year at high school and I have a lot of exams coming up between easter and summer, so it looks like my competition season won’t start until the European Championship in Chamonix in July. I’ve chosen to focus on my studies this spring, and I’ll only miss a couple of competitions, but it’s still sad because I could have gained more experiences by competing. It’s also important for me to do some comps before the season just to get the head ready. I wish I had some comps to look forward to in the near future, but we do have some national team training camps coming up in April, and that is something to be excited about! As well as a national comp in lead in Oslo in just three weeks 🙂
