World cup and training in Austria
Last friday I competed in my first bouldering world cup in Kitzbuhel, and it was a lot of fun! I’m not too happy about my performance, considering the fact that I should have done at least two problems, maybe even three. But I have to admit that I was surprised about how technical it was, and how the style was completely different to what I’m used to. Nevertheless, I had a good time and I learned a lot. This competition finished my two periods with power training (general and maximum), so following up now is a period filled with endurance. A lot of endurance.
After the comp I went to Innsbruck with the rest of the national team, where we had three days of amazing training at Tivoli. IT’S SUCH A GOOD GYM! Still two months to go until the season starts, but in just three weeks I’ll head to Switzerland for the European Youth Championship in bouldering!
